Rainy Irish Wedding | Clare and Jonathan

This couple. Oh my goodness. As their wedding date grew closer and closer, they edited their plans week by week, but Clare and Jonathan were ready to begin their married lives and COVID-19 was not going to stand in their way. Prepared to have only a handful of witnesses present, restrictions lifted just days prior to their date, allowing friends and family to celebrate with them. Not only that, but the church they had originally set their hearts on being married at finished just enough renovations to allow the wedding to take place there, with the addition of a few scaffolding rigs. And when their wedding day dawned overcast, not even the rain could dampen their spirits; it provided the perfect misty backdrop to the white-tented reception, quivering willows, farm cats and the Father of the Bride’s Irish brogue.

Clare and Jonathan said their vows while holding a crucifix made by the groom….readily embracing all of marriage’s sorrows and joys…pandemic ones included.
